A significant portion of our premium pet waste bag is made from 100% plant-based, natural resources:
• Corn Starch (Pure Nature): We use food-grade corn starch as a primary functional ingredient. This is a 100% natural, annually renewable resource that is completely carbon-neutral. It provides the organic foundation for the bag's structure.
• PLA (Plants-to-Plastic Technology): Our PLA (Polylactic Acid) is derived entirely from the fermentation of plant sugars, such as corn and sugarcane. It is a "bioplastic" that contains zero petroleum. By using PLA, we are essentially "locking up" atmospheric carbon into a functional material rather than pulling new carbon out of the ground.
• PBAT: While PBAT currently provides the necessary flexibility and durability that 100% plant-based materials lack, its most critical feature is that it is biodegradable. It is engineered to be consumed by microorganisms just as easily as the corn starch and PLA components.
